The light was amazing today, and the clouds gave a fantastic backdrop to the beautiful fall landscape.

Kerala in the south of India is a beautiful place criss-crossed by canals or “backwaters” as they are called. In this picture a man is trying to go make it home in his canoe before the storm that we can see gathering on the horizon.

What can I say? Maybe my favourite city in the world… Whether it is just wandering around the canals, exploring the museums, or just having a cappuccino on a terrace somewhere after a good grilled fish, I always have a fantastic time there. [..]

The weather changes pretty quickly on an island and Capri is no exception. The sun was going down and suddenly the clouds came down hard and fast and I just had time to rush back to pick up my camera and take this shot of the coming storm. [..]

During our trip to the Masai Mara, we learned that animals in general tend to stop and stay completely still when it is raining a lot. I don’t really know why, but it enabled me to take that great shot on a long exposure on the way back to camp, even with very little light to play with. [..]
