{"id":807,"date":"2020-09-10T12:35:46","date_gmt":"2020-09-10T11:35:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/berenger.net\/recettes\/?p=807"},"modified":"2020-09-10T12:35:46","modified_gmt":"2020-09-10T11:35:46","slug":"penicillin-cocktail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/berenger.net\/recettes\/penicillin-cocktail\/","title":{"rendered":"Penicillin Cocktail"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<p>Honey-Ginger Syrup:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup honey<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup water<\/li>\n<li>3-inch piece of ginger root, peeled and sliced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cocktail:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 ounces blended Scotch<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 ounce honey-ginger syrup<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 ounce Islay Scotch<\/li>\n<li>ice<\/li>\n<li>candied ginger for garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Directions:<\/h2>\n<p>Make the honey-ginger syrup:<\/p>\n<p>Mix honey, water and ginger root to a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool syrup. Strain and store in fridge.<\/p>\n<p>Make the cocktail:<\/p>\n<p>Pour the blended Scotch, lemon juice and honey-ginger syrup into a shaker. Add ice, shake and strain into a rocks glass with ice. Float the Islay Scotch on top by pouring it gently over the back of a spoon.
