Socca

Recipe from Mémé Mimi.


Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups chickpea flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

Whisk the flour together with the olive oil and salt. Slowly add water until all lumps are removed (or sift them out).

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 570˚F. Place an oiled baking sheet in the oven for 5 minutes and take it out.

Pour the preparation on it, and put it back at the top of the oven. After 2 minutes put the oven on broil for 5-7 minutes.

Crack some black pepper on it and eat hot.
