Remoulade Sauce

Recipe from Gail Harris.


Ingredients:

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup horseradish, fresh or jarred
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 1 bay leaf, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons Creole mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

In a food processor, beat the egg yolks for 2 minutes. While running the machine, add oil and the other ingredients.
