Olive Cake

Recipe from Marion Berenger.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 1/3 cup Martini Rosso
  • 1 1/2 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 1/2 pound cooked ham, diced
  • 1/3 pound green pitted olives
  • salt and pepper

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients well in the order indicated above. Flour the pan before pouring the batter. Cook in the oven at 330˚F for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Don’t open the oven until after one hour, and then cover cake with a sheet of aluminium foil.
