I have amazing memories of our ski excursion with Svetlana, Jacky and Cyril on the Vallée Blanche, the glacier running from the Aiguille du Midi (3842m) all the way down to the valley more than 2000m below. After a vertiginous climb in the cable car from Chamonix, and a steep walk down the edge of a cliff to reach the glacier, you can put your skis on and marvel at a landscape almost untouched for thousands of years.
It was a nice long (but easy) ski ride down the mountain, and I must have taken hundreds of pictures, but I think that this is my favourite.
